Kevin is a musical artist who brings you a beachy mix of punk, hip hop, and country music, described as surf country. As a solo man show, Kevin uses different instruments and a looper to create a unique pop sound.Since the release of his debut album entitled Umami, Kevin Kennedy iii has been rocking the music industry. Over the past year he has played over 100 different venues around the world, including shows in the USA, Morocco, Portugal, Germany, France, Spain, and Cuba, but now his sights have turned to China. “It has always been a dream of mine to visit China. I am so excited to discover the culture, make new friends, create music, and eat some amazing food!” said Kennedy when asked about his future plans.Kennedy grew up in North Platte, Nebraska. After attending the College of William and Mary in Virginia, he took off to live abroad, exploring different musical sounds and cultures from around the world. To date he has visited over 55 countries writing music and lyrics that would eventually be the inspiration for his E.P. and album. Kennedy is currently signed to Buena Onda Records.
