The Basement, a band whose members are in Beijing for the purpose of studying, united through serendipity and the love of music.

地室乐队,，由来京留学的乐手组成的乐队,通过偶然和对音乐的爱而联合起来。

Luiz Henrique (Guitar & Vocals)

吉他手

Luiz Henrique, 26 years old, brazilian. Lives in Beijing since 2015. Playing the guitar since he was 8, he has played in many bands back in Brazil - playing a variety of genres, from Brazilian popular music, rock, blues, to hard rock.

路易斯, 26 岁, 巴西人,2015 年来京,从 8岁开始学习吉他。在巴西多个乐队有演出经历。

擅长多种风格, 从巴西流行、摇滚、布鲁斯到硬核摇滚。

Matty Temporal (Vocals)

主唱

Matty, 24, is a singer-songwriter from England. He came to Beijing in 2015 as an English teacher and has become a regular of the Beijing music scene. Singing in a variety of genres, including rock and soul, Matty joined The Basement after a number of solo performances at different venues around Beijing.

Victoria Thomas (Keyboard)

键盘手

Victoria, the keyboardist is a native from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Playing since she was 6, she has performed live around The Americas and Australia and has now come to China to spread her passion for music.

队里的键盘手, 来自阿根廷首都布宜诺斯艾利斯。从 6 岁开始弹奏键盘,有许多表演经历, 在美国、澳大利亚现在在中国进行现场表演,如今来中国传达她对音乐的热情

Zunyou 

(Bass, 贝斯手) 

Zunyou, from Singapore, started playing the bass simply because his friend needed a bassist, and has not looked back since. He looks Chinese because he is, but don’t let that fool you, he’s more like an Englishman in Beijing.

来自新加坡的 踏上音乐道路的原因对比其他乐人好像很简单:仅仅因为他的朋友乐队需要一 个贝司手。从此再也没停下过对音乐的追求。他看起来像是中国人因为他的外表,但是别被迷惑了, 因为中文还不太好,他在北京更像是个“老外”。
