Crosstown Traffic 地下音乐节四场演出中最炸裂的一场，

五支北京地下现场最浑的摇滚乐队搅合一气，

一场真正的摇滚乐演出，脏乱差的试听盛宴。

Crosstown Traffic is a four night musical affair, 

encompassing many of the different styles Beijing has to offer.  

The most heavy one will be hold on June 9th at Yue Space , 

5 underground rock bands will hit you up with some groovy rock power.

 MOHANIK 

Mohanik is a “Nomad Rock” band formed in 2004 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.Ulaanbaatar is the capital of the country of Mongolia...not Inner-Mongolia!

The band believes their second album Mohanik at Amarbaysgalant is a reflection of the development, intensity, seriousness and maturity of the members individually and as a band. The album was recorded outdoors live at a monasteryin northern Mongolia. Mohanik describes the meaning of their band name as, “Itis a given name, and has no direct meaning; but our music, lyrics, the feeling, and the emotions you get from our music represent the name.”

Mohanik 是一支来自乌兰巴托的游牧摇滚乐队，组建于2004年。

他们的第二张专辑《Mohanik 于 Amarbaysgalant寺》是对乐队每位成员发展，严肃性，坚毅性的一次彻底折射。这是一张在棚外录音专辑，录制于蒙古北部的一家寺院“Amarbaysgalant寺” 关于乐队的名字含义Mohanik说“只是一个教名，没有确切的意思，我们的音乐，歌词，感觉和情感都是对它的呈现。

MOTORBIKE GIRLS

Motorbike Girls is a trio from Beijing playing a beer-fueled mixture of straight forward '60s garage rock, stripped-down psychedelia and various strains of '80s indie rock. They began their live career at the renowned Old What Bar in May 2015 and have been playing regularly ever since, sharing the stage with local luminaries such as White+, the Bedstars and the Diders. Eschewing technical ability for pure emotion, their shows – loud, jagged, brazenly sloppy – alternate between originals and rough-and-tumble covers of bands such as the Gun Club and the Brian Jonestown Massacre.

MotorbikeGirls 是一支来自北京的三人乐队。他们的音乐散发着浓浓的啤酒腥鲜, 是 60 年代车库摇滚穴居人、迷幻摇滚药匣子的 80 年代 indie 精神病人的私生变 种。2015 年 5 月,乐队在著名的老 What 酒吧首次登台并活跃至今,曾与White+、the Bedstars 以及 the Diders 等众多本地乐队同台。现场的 Motorbike Girls 吵闹粗糙,邋遢得任性,出于纯粹的情绪表达,他们并不介意放弃对技巧的

STRUGGLE SESSION (formerly known as Dress Code)

Ripping out of Beijing’s darker corners is STRUGGLE SESSION, the currentstandard bearers for brutal fastcore in the Chinese capital. Hailing from the US, Canada, and Australia, this motley crew of international miscreants bonded in Beijing over a shared interest in fun, fast music. STRUGGLE SESSION was born as a tempest on the Beijing musical landscape sharing bills and beers with hardcore, metal, and post-punk bands alike.

STRUGGLE SESSION features members of Beijing hardcore-punk band Fanzui Xiangfa, Australian synth-grind Scrotal Vice, Moroccan hardcore band W.O.R.M., and US band Handed To The Thousands. After ripping a hole in their local scene and sharing stages with like minded misfits across the country, STUGGLESESSION, previously known as Dress Code, are set to release a split 12” withGuangzhou's Die! Chiwawa Die! and take their frenetic show on the road, partying with Moroccan and southern Spanish squats on their inaugural international tour.

STRUGGLE SESSION is anti-racist, anti-sexist, and anti-homophobic.

HUGH REED AND THE ELECTRICSHADOWS

Following local TV appearances, his band The Velvet Underpants’ were invited by Deborah Harry of the band ‘Blondie’ to support her on 11 dates throughoutBritain in the winter of 1993. This culminated in Hugh and Debs doing a live duet of Waiting for the Man, which can be watched on Youku. Deborah also faxed Lou to tell him about Hugh.

Hugh was then signed to Edinburgh’s Eclectic label. The debut Album Take a Walk on the Clydeside was released receiving a lot of radio play not just in UK but also throughout, Europe, America and Canada. Hugh describes himself as‘multi-talentless’ and is seen in a cameo role in the coolest film of the nineties

Trainspotting - buying alcoholic drinks for a 14 year old girl he loses out to Renton, the main man, and gets his pint nicked in the process. Watch out for the dodgy-looking geyser with sideburns and a frilly shirt. More recently he appearedin the Jackie Chan movie ’12 Zodiacs’ as a butler and has also appeared on CCTVin many small acting roles.

Hugh previously toured extensively throughout the U.K., Germany, Holland, Belgium and Ireland. Hugh has relocated to Beijing, and recorded his next album‘Ni fa feng le ma?’ The Electric Shadows has been formed with Ben Coles (UK), Dane (USA), Elly (Uganda) and maverick artist Benjamin Saphiro (UK), all of whom have played in bands and made music in their home countries.
