立陶宛迷幻爵士乐队Sheep Got Waxed首度来华巡演/SGW's First Tour in China

Sheep Got Waxed是新兴的“异类”乐队里备受瞩目的一支。他们的音乐尽管复杂，却又十分入耳，展现了爵士、电子和学院派音乐的另一面。

Sheep Got Waxed is the new weird. Their music is complex and approachable at the same time. This trio brings a new perspective into jazz, electronic and academic music.

迄今为止，Sheep Got Waxed已发行了两张专辑——2014年的同名专辑和2016年《PUSHY》，并在立陶宛、拉脱维亚、爱沙尼亚、俄罗斯、法国、西班牙和英国等地进行过巡演。他们曾被授予Vilnius Jazz Young Power Grand Prix，并两度获立陶宛音乐协会年度奖M.A.M.A.提名。他们也涉足戏剧和电影领域，为其制作音乐。

They have released two albums: “Sheep Got Waxed” (2014) and “PUSHY” (Nov 2016), and have been touring in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, France, Spain and UK. They have been awarded Vilnius Jazz Young Power Grand Prix and nominated as alternative of the year at M.A.M.A. awards twice. They also have been making music for theatre and films.

乐队的成员们在演奏时都会手脚并用，用吉他、萨克斯和架子鼓，并配合以多种多样的效果器和电子打击乐。他们都有着电子乐甚至重金属音乐的背景（在最初的几场演出时有些成员还留着长发），而他们现在的风格则介于自由爵士和实验电子之间，尽管依然非常难以定义。

All band members use both their hands and their feet to play music. Guitar, saxophone and drum-set are accompanied by various effect decks and digital percussion. Having a background in electronic music and even heavy metal (during the very first gigs some members still had long hair), now the band is playing something in between free jazz and experimental electronics, although that is very undescriptive.
